Presidential Polls: Nigeria’ll not return to PDP-Emerhor, Samani, Dakuku

SENIOR Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters, Mr Gideon Samani, Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor and Dr Peterside Dakuku, has said President Muhammadu Buhari will defeat the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the Niger Delta region in the Saturday’s presidential election.

The trio who spoke separately at the inauguration of 4,000 Buhari Canvassers for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari by the Mainstream Delta APC Asaba, warned that Nigeria must never be returned to the dark days of the PDP which according to them, brought the country to her knees. On his part, Samani said that with the current support President Muhammadu Buhari command in the region particularly in Delta, his victory was sure in the election. He said; “I thank the Organizers and canvassers for organising this door to door campaign in support of Buhari. We have a President that is very reliable and dependable. I want to say that Dakuku Peterside and Olorogun O’tega Emerhor have been so antagonized and blackmailed because of the Buhari agenda but they never relented.“With what I have seen today in Delta State specially put together by Emerhor and the Mainstream Delta APC, Buhari will defeat Atiku. I am very sure that Buhari will score over 400,000 votes in next Saturday election. Buhari has worked and he would continue to work for the common good of all Nigerians unlike what PDP did in 16 years”.READ ALSO:  Traffic gridlock hits Ilorin as Buhari visits KwaraEmerhor who is the leader of APC in Delta State, said; “Deltans are here for a single mission of re-electing President Buhari for second term come February 16th.“We have just six days more to campaign. If you look at Delta in 2015, the PDP wrote results for the Delta APC and gave us (APC) 50, 000 votes. But this time it can never work. Buhari will win Delta State and Niger Delta squarely.“We will use all the chairmen and supervisors to flood Delta state with Buhari campaign to get a minimum of 400, 000 votes from the 4000 canvassers. We don’t care what other people are doing but we must stand up to be counted and we have given this as a must do; and we will provide all canvassers everything needed to do the job including branded new cars for the door to door campaign to make people know that Delta State belongs to Buhari. Therefore, we vow to win Delta State for Buhari come February 16th.”Dakuku, who is the Director-General of NIMASA, said Delta State and other parts of Niger Delta have agreed to re-elect President Buhari for another four years, adding that “Nigeria will never return to the hands of those who had never wished the country well; Nigeria is safe under Buhari.“Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor was one of the few Nigerians who saw the light enough that President Buhari is the right person to rule this country. Today, we are glad that Buhari won in 2015 and he will win his re-election on Saturday. We are happy that Buhari never disappointed majority of Nigerians who voted for him.“Let me say that these Buhari Canvassers which Emerhor has put together today (Saturday) with the support of the Mainstream Delta APC and with the commissioning of 10 cars to complement their work, we are going to replicate this laudable idea in Rivers State immediately.”Also speaking, the Wife of the Minister for State for Agricultural, Mrs. Susan Lokpobri, appealed to Delta State women to vote for Buhari and the APC in the elections, saying that future of their children are more secured under another Buhari-led government. The event was attended by prominent APC leaders including Air Vice Marshal Frank Ajobena, Mrs Mariam Ali, Dr Cairo Ojougboh, factional APC chairman in the state, Chief Cyril Ogodo, Olorogun Ima Niboro, Chief Micheal Johnny, Chief Napoleon Gbinije and host of others.Source:https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/02/presidential-polls-nigeriall-not-return-to-pdp-emerhor-samani-dakuku/
